We believe that weddings should be affordable, fun to plan, and most of all happy and stress free.

Our store is located in Rayleigh, Essex - quite central to all locations. In store you will find an array of products and services to assist you with your wedding or event. We pride oursleves on our friendly customer service.

As well as offering many items such as stationery, tiaras, vase hire, favours, etc , we also offer services such as Chair Covers, Table dressing, & Balloon decor. Our excellent Wedding Managers work with you to create the effect you require.

Are we wedding planners? No , we believe that most people wish to plan their own weddings, but just need some guidance along the way. We are always at the end of the phone or email answering common queries. Hence why we call ourselves Wedding Managers!!

Kelly - a full background in Retail Management, Customer Service Management, event planning and interior design all helped in Kelly founding The Wedding Village. You will find Kelly instore, at weddings and making sure everything runs smoothly!

Emma - with extensive background in retail and customer service, Emma works weekdays to assist in-store and behind the scenes!

Laura - Excellent customer service, retail, health & beauty experience provides Laura the skills to be your Weeekend Wedding Manager

Nicki - you will usually see Nicki on one of our stands at the Wedding Fairs!

How did it all start.......

Following preparations for many friends weddings, and then her own, Kelly Spink knew how difficult it can be to find the right products at the right price.  She was constantly frustrated by the word 'wedding' adding so much to the price.

Kelly felt that this knowledge should be shared with others - but did not want to be a wedding planner - just sell the products and give some guidance along the way and hence The Wedding Village was born.

Starting out originally as a mobile visiting store, The Wedding Village then needed a base. In 2006 the decision was made to open a showroom to allow more Bride & Grooms access to The Wedding Village products and services. 

The Wedding Village is dedicated to the memory of Kelly's Mum, who was diagnosed, and died of Cancer during the 3 months that Kelly was setting up the business.  Even so her help, support and opinions ensured that The Wedding Village was launched. "Thank You Mum"

The Wedding Village is commited to helping find a cure for Cancer and to date the Team and families have raised over £12000 for Cancer Research.
